lately my entertainment has been:

-going down to d.c. and being less than a foot away from rock sex gods THe ARk

i <3 sweden and will elope there with Ola

-going to nyc, telling my parents i'm at Moma for 6 hours [hahahaha YEAH RIGHT, i'm not THAT artsy], taking a photo of a painting so my sis can do her art project at home, taking a cab to the village to watch

SHORTBUS

the most AMAZING indie film, and totally unrated [they let us in cuz the village rules XD] and if you've seen Hedwig and the angry inch, hedwig [aka raphael baker] was in it [even though he played a douche bag]....i never knew there was so much to orgasms XD. anyway then jess and i walked like 50 blocks down 7ave in the wrong direction which SUCKED [but we laughed] so then we got a cab back to time square and literally RAN into the virgin records store, bought jess her new york doll's AMAZING shirt, and then RAN down broadway in fishnets and platforms to Port Authority so our parents wouldn't kill us for missing the 7pm bus. very fun

-going to nyc to see PLACEBO!!!!!!!!! OMFG BRIAN MOLKO IS THE HOTTEST MAN ALIVE!!!! [or one of them] NOT TO MENTION AN AMAZING GUITARIST! dude he knows EVERYTHING. XD so i stood in platform boots [not the plaid ones] for 7 hours in total....it was actually pretty entertaining, lol. ]

so first we get off our bus at 4.15 and we walk down to the mcD's in time square to buy drinks cuz i was PARCHED

jess was wearing blue fishnets, pinstriped AMAZING platform shoes, a black miniskirt and a pink mesh shirt with her [hehehe] new york dolls shirt over top. oh! and she wore her black cape over it so it looked like she had nothing on except fishnet, mesh and platforms XD [my dad said she looked like a hooker]

and i of course looked like a lady pimp XDDD i wore an all black tuxedo outfit sans the jacket. which of course entailed pants, shirt [there were no pleats though, it was like pseudo-pleats made of velvet] and my black mid-calf platform boots. my hair was down and i had on loads of make-up XD but nice make-up

anywho. we bought our drinks at mcD's and were walking kinda slowly, enjoying ourselves, to nokia theatre, but when we got there we saw a line of like 50 ppl...and we walked up to this bouncer guy and was like "hey, what's this line for?" and he said "oh, placebo" and i said "OH! where's the end of it?" and he said "around the corner" so, we ran...and i was scared the line was gonna be huge, but it was only like 12 other ppl around the corner, so we were good.

anyway, that was at like 5pm and the doors didn't open till 6.30 so i was kinda pissed cuz i had wanted to walk around. but the line grew to a fucking huge size. and loads of passerbys thought we wanted in to mtv studio [cuz nokia's around the corner from it] but no. XD finally they let us in like 2 hours later [jess and i went in with the second group] they didn't ask our age so it was cool. guess height + make-up adds to your age lol.

so once inside we went into the theatre part anD HOLY SHIT~! we were right up at the bar...almost, one person blocking me from front row. she was a room-whore. she was like leaning a foot away from the bar, so i nudged her forward but she still pushed back, w/e though....[when placebo came on she cut it out and moved forward]

so we waited an hour there for the show to start, then another 1/2 an hour for some dj to finish his little thing [the only cool part was when he threw in david bowie in one mix...he used Rebel Rebel but only the intro XD so it was like "got your mother..........got your mother....." etc]

then She Wants Revenge came on. Placebo's "co-headline" they weren't what i expected....more like dance-grunge [weird combo i kno] but the bassist/keyboardist was really cool!!!! the other guyz were kinda lame [no offense, their music wasn't bad] the last two songs were the coolest, i liked 'em. oh! and no one knew them except the girl next to me who knew ALL the words hahaha.. and then she was like "i luv u adam!!!!" to the cool guy, and then he smiled and was like "....i love you too" XD so cute!!!

so finally Placebo came on and of course EVERYONE freaked the fuck out. Molko was like sex incarnate and stef was so good~! and steve was in the back drumming and drinking beer XD
they played more than just old songs so i was super happy!

i LOVED it when they played Special K CUZ IT'S MY FAVORITE SONG EVAR!!!

so when it started molko was like "ok, so i need audience participation for this one....it'll be kinda like american idol...except not from satan"

XDDD but it was amazing and i was all into it "NO HESITATION NO DELAY YOU COME ON JUST LIKE SPECIAL K IT'S LIKE I SWALLOWED HALF MY STASH, I NEVER EVER WANNA CRASH"

omg...it was so good. and molko kept playing his guitar right in front of us!!! EEK! >_< so like a bunch of re-re fan girls we all stuck out our hands and squealed and he laughed [but we knew he liked it XD since he kept standing there and coming back] he also played The Bitter End [first placebo song i ever heard]

oh! and stef kept coming over too! but not as much as brian ^^ and there was a molko-like right behind me and jess pushing up against us [i think he was bi toO! XD] and he looked EXACTLY like Molko but like...a foot taller XD. At some point he was like "I WANNA FUCK YOU BRIAN~!!!" lol, and brian laughed and i did...cuz it'd be like molko fucking molko XD he's just THAT beautiful~~

so i was less than 2 feet away from british...no WORLD sex icon. we chanted "placebo, pla-ce-bo, etc" for like 5 minutes after the show....we didn't think they were coming back BUT THEY DID! and they played like 4 more songs!!!! ^^

so amazing, i <3 life!

oh, and my dad was in nyc at a meeting so he came by at the end to pick us up and it was so funny....i felt bad using a ticket for him since it was a sold out show v_v but he bought us shirts!!! so it was all good. he was so creepy though, we like limped across the dance floor covered in cups and cans of alcohol to this 40something year old guy in a black trench coat and sunglasses XD apparently he spent his time drinking beer and talking to an 18-year-old greek usher lol.

so it was god, then walked 10 blocks in the wrong direction, so we took cab to the hyatt to get my dad's office car lol. singing special k and 20 years ago the whole time, lol.

i <3 life, did i mention that?!

i HAVE to be a musician now. i can't NOT be one~
